Is it Spring yet? This picture just makes me think of Spring. The good news is that Spring officially starts March 20th. The bad news is that there is still snow on the ground here in Iowa. Grrr! I am over the snow and very jealous that Las Vegas has a high of 86 degrees today! Maybe it’s time to schedule a trip to Vegas for photo sessions…….

Looking out of the window, we see nothing but white snow- so why not have a spring tea party right? The girls got to pick any dress that they wanted to wear and I even made butterfly masks on their faces. They dined on finger sandwiches, cucumbers, hummus, and cookies, and of course pink tea. It is such a sight to see when they raise their little pinkies high and say things like delightful, splendid and fabulous. We don’t do school time on Fridays and usually they get to watch a movie and eat popcorn but I think this was a nice little surprise for them today. One day it will be pretty cool to look back and remember these times.

Although I still can’t walk in the yard without snow boots on, it was almost 50 degrees and sunny- so I can’t complain.

It was a perfect day to go outside and build a snowman and we had a blast!
